While I specialize in honeymoons and romance travel, that also means — by definition — that I am starting to see my clientele expand to include families! I love it when my honeymooners come back to me for anniversary trips, babymoons, and then for family vacations once the little ones come along 🙂 Lauren and Christen are long-time clients who just took their first family “escape” with baby Wes. They were headed to Mexico and had lots of questions about choosing the right resort. From the feedback below, it looks like we hit a home run with the Iberostar Paraiso Beach .
Hi Annie!
We had a fabulous trip! Travel was easy and went off without a hitch. Amstar was great and welcomed us with open arms and even helped us install our car seat. The resort was absolutely gorgeous and everyone totally catered to Wes.
There were beautiful peacocks, coatis, iguanas, and parrots everywhere. The food was good but not great but that was totally fine for us. Our room was second to none with a great view of the beach and we were by far in the best building on the resort. The pools were exactly as we had dreamed they would be. They offered the party when we wanted it and some serene spots to get away from it all when needed.
Lauren jetskied and got a massage which was all done on site. I scuba dived with Dressel Divers which was also located on the resort. It was seriously the coolest thing I have ever done. Scuba diving the second largest coral reef in the world is definitely a story I will get lots of mileage out of. Not to mention, the dive company catered to me as a new diver. Iberostar was well organized and offered many (safe) excursions. We actually went to Xel Ha and had an absolute blast. The snorkeling was amazing and they had things for the little LITTLE kids to do. They even had life jackets in Wes’s size (14 months old).
We would recommend an Iberostar resort to anyone with or without kids!
Thanks (as always) for setting us up for a wonderful trip!
Chris, Lauren and Wes
