I understand that Shared Adventures Travel Inc. (“Shared Adventures”) is not the source or supplier of the travel services I have requested and acts solely as an agent for the actual suppliers of such services. I have been advised that the suppliers whose names appear in the information supplied to me are those who are actually responsible for providing the travel services I have purchased. I consent to and request the use of those suppliers and agree not to hold Shared Adventures responsible should any of these suppliers: 1) fail to provide the travel services I have purchased; 2) fail to comply with any applicable law; or 3) engage in any negligent act or omission that causes me any sort of injury, damage, delay or inconvenience.

I accept that Shared Adventures is not responsible for, nor will I attempt to hold it liable for, any injury, damage or loss I may suffer on account of any conditions, actions or omissions that are beyond its reasonable control.

I understand that Shared Adventures provides its services based on its experience, expertise and information available to it, but that it is not a guarantor of my travel experience and that the decision to travel or travel to a particular place is solely my decision.

I will review my travel documents for accuracy upon receipt and understand that I may contact Shared Adventures if I have any questions. I understand that discounted fares typically involve restrictions and that changing any aspect of my travel arrangements may result in the payment of additional money.

I have been advised that passengers on aircraft are forbidden to transport hazardous materials in their checked baggage, carry-on baggage or on their person and that detailed information on the rules and exceptions as to hazardous materials can be found at www.faa.gov/Go/PackSafe.

I have been advised to use a credit card as this may offer me the opportunity to dispute the charge should a vendor cease operating.

I understand that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires me to carry a government issued identification card in order to board a flight. I have been advised that the name, date of birth and gender that appears on the identification card must exactly match the same such data that is listed on my airline ticket and in my booking records. I acknowledge that my failure to strictly comply with these requirements may result in denied boarding or an undue delay at an airport security checkpoint causing me to miss my flight.

Children under 18 years of age not traveling with both parents or legal guardian(s) may need to present a notarized letter from the absent parent/guardian granting permission to travel outside the United States and provide emergency medical care if necessary.

I understand Shared Adventures is not responsible for lack of compliance to provide proper documentation to airport authorities. It is the responsibility of the traveler and the traveler’s parents/guardians to provide proper documentation to airport authorities.

I understand that if traveling internationally, I must have a valid passport and depending upon my destination and nationality, I may need to obtain one or more visas. I understand it is my responsibility to verify my ability to travel. Examples include (but are not limited to) overdue alimony or child support payments, DUI, IRS, pending warrants, legal convictions, federal charges, and inclusion on the no-fly list.  I agree that Shared Adventures is not responsible for travelers who are denied boarding or denied entry due to passport/visa requirements or legal issues.

Note to Client: Passport and visa information may be obtained by contacting the Travel Advisory Section of the U.S. State Department at 202.647.5225 or by visiting the State Department’s Web site at travel.state.gov. Non-U.S. passport holders should be sure to contact the embassies of their destination and transit countries to obtain entrance requirements. To obtain medical information, you may contact the Centers for Disease Control at 404.332.4559 or visit the CDC’s Web site at www.cdc.gov.

I understand that the airline tickets, air tours or other products I am purchasing are subject to supplemental price increases that may be imposed after the date of purchase. Post-purchase price increases may be applied due to additional costs imposed by a supplier or government. I acknowledge that I may be charged additional sums by Shared Adventures to offset increased fees, fuel surcharges, taxes, fluctuations in foreign exchange markets or any combination thereof. I hereby consent to any post-purchase price increases and authorize Shared Adventures.to charge my credit card for such additional amounts.

I understand that Shared Adventures has disclosed any mandatory fees, such as resort fees, of which it is aware at the time of purchase of travel, but I agree that Shared Adventures will not be held responsible for any changes in the pricing structure imposed by travel suppliers such as resorts post purchase.

I understand that I may purchase travel insurance to cover certain risks inherent in travel such as supplier bankruptcy and the inability to travel due to a medical or personal emergency. Insurance is most comprehensive when purchased within two weeks of the initial trip deposit, and I will make an affirmative decision for or against travel insurance within that timeframe.

I understand and agree that all transactions contemplated under these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Rhode Island, and the courts of the State of Rhode Island shall be the sole and exclusive forum for the resolution of any disputes arising hereunder.

I understand and agree that in the event it shall become necessary for Shared Adventures. to retain the services of legal counsel in connection with my failure to abide the Terms and Conditions hereof I will be responsible for any and all costs and legal fees incurred by Shared Adventures in the enforcement of the provisions of this agreement.

In the event that any provision of these Terms and Conditions are held to be invalid the parties agree that the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. This contract contains all the agreements by the parties hereto. These Terms and Conditions shall apply to and bind all parties, and may not be assigned or transferred by any party.

You provided excellent guidance for us. I appreciated that you really had us think about what was most important to us when we were selecting the right cruise – and not to totally focus on what other people had to say. THANK YOU for helping to make this a memorable trip for our family! It really was a trip of a lifetime!

Clare and Mark (family cruise to Alaska)

The level of service we experienced was out of this world (and we did NOT make it easy on Ann). We weren’t quite sure where we wanted to go, when we would be able to go, or what “vibe” we were going for. After asking us some key questions (what we liked, didn’t like, why, etc.) Ann helped us narrow down our trip details and planned the honeymoon of our dreams. She helped book some of our excursions, answered some emergency questions while abroad and was always available/willing to help. I think it’s safe to say we won’t be using anyone else for future travel planning – Ann is a rockstar!
