An aviation junkie through and through, Mike has been an air traffic controller in New York for over ten years and still gets excited whenever he sees a plane flying overhead! He lives on Long Island with his wife and two young children and balances his “day job” at the airport with a thriving business as a family travel specialist and Accredited Cruise Counselor. For his personal travel, Mike lives by the motto that travel is about family, and that means no one is left behind. He takes his kids everywhere.  His family loves to cruise and do anything related to Disney. He has visited Walt Disney World countless times, and regularly visits the parks to experience new offerings and test strategies to share with his clients. Mike understands the daily struggles that parents face when traveling with children and he uses his experience and knowledge to help plan the small details.  This way the trip is all about enjoying those candid moments with family, and not what you forgot at home.  Just remember, "There's the whole world at your feet".

The newest member of the Shared Adventures team, Liz joined us in 2019 as a Marketing Assistant and is now spreading her wings to take on some travel planning and concierge duties as well. Originally from Arizona, she earned an undergraduate degree in stage management and spent seven years travelling the world and working as a professional stage manager for tours and on cruise ships. Her guiding principle is “Life is meant for good friends and great adventures”, and she took that advice to heart two years ago and pursued her dream of living abroad. She currently lives in Reggio Emilia, Italy and works for us remotely from there. Her specialty (naturally) is Italy, but her biggest contribution to the team is her research skills! Liz can dig deep to find the best little hidden gems in any destination, and she loves figuring out the logistics of connecting different cities and countries.

Kristy has a long-standing love for all things travel. From as early as she can remember, her desire for adventure has been a force propelling her towards new experiences. Whether that was in her own backyard on her family's farm (Michigan), climbing the 1000 steps at Yamadera Monastery (Japan), or singing with locals at the base of Wli Falls (Ghana), Kristy's deepest desire is to connect to her heart and to others through travel. Five years ago, Kristy started following her heart towards a new adventure and the path forward was paved with the deep love she has for her husband, Matt. Married for 15 years and with 6 children between them (2 hers, 2 his, 2 theirs), she began honing in on travel that was more couples-focused. Kristy knows the vital role that shared memories make in a couple's love story and so she has made Destination Weddings her passion and focus. A Destination Wedding is one of the most remarkable experiences that a couple can share with their family and friends and Kristy strives to make the process as easy and as streamlined as possible. She maintains expert knowledge of resorts, wedding venues, and packages by traveling three months of the year to the destinations she plans for. Kristy has personally been to over 160 all-inclusive resorts and has built strong relationships with suppliers and hoteliers who are ready to partner with her to create these extraordinary and specialized events.
