Ready for take-off?

If you’ve got some free time coming up in the next month or so, Jet Blue has got a deal for you!

Their popular “All You Can Jet” pass, which sold out in just two days the last time they offered it, is on sale again now. Purchase your pass for $699, and you can fly all you want, wherever Jet Blue flies, between September 7th and October 6th.  They claim that there are no blackout dates, and that if a seat on a flight is available it’s yours. Read the fine print before you jump on board, of course, but it sure sounds like a great idea to me!

If you could take advantage of unlimited flights for a full month, where would you go?  Hmmm…Las Vegas, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Seattle….

I’ve been saying it for a few months now (see this post from February, and this one from April), but now that the Wall Street Journal is saying it, it MUST be true:

This summer may be the best travel opportunity you’ll ever have

In today’s article — It’s a Buyer’s Market for Summer Travel — the WSJ highlights some very good news for travelers.  The weak economy has led to decreases in airfares and hotel rates. With business travel suffering double-digit decreases, premium and business class seats to Europe are more affordable (and available) than ever.  Frequent flier miles are becoming easier to redeem. The dollar has regained strength against the Euro. Hotels (across the board, in all sorts of destinations) are throwing in “added value” inducements like included breakfast, room upgrades and free nights. And the list goes on and on…

The end result is that the outlook for summer travel is very rosy. To quote the author, “if you have the dough, this summer is the time to go”!

The level of service we experienced was out of this world (and we did NOT make it easy on Ann). We weren’t quite sure where we wanted to go, when we would be able to go, or what “vibe” we were going for. After asking us some key questions (what we liked, didn’t like, why, etc.) Ann helped us narrow down our trip details and planned the honeymoon of our dreams.
